Man This Song is So Good

For real, even though Jonny Craig does/ did drugs, he's a great singer. He just kills it. Good thing he's off the heroin.

To set the record straight

I guess people are finding this blog, so I want to take some time and say this. I like Jonny Craig. His actions regarding the macbooks were unquestionably immoral and wrong. However, those actions were spurred on by drugs and drugs make you do that kinda wacked up shit. He's clean now and seems to want to be a better person and I wholly support that. I love his voice and I really like his style. He's not the nicest person in the world (cmon he is not Vic Fuentes) but I'm not either. I think he's hilarious. His twitter is so funny. And he's handling everything that's happening actually pretty well.

The new DGD cd is incredible. Jonny kills it in every song and I can't wait for him to do more. I wish I could sing like him. And I wish I could pull off the mullet like he does.

All Me

Also,
haters gonna hate, I'm enjoying this.

Ooo yay!

Isles & Glaciers Not Completely Melted

Thank god. It's a shame they don't have anything else coming soon. They could do a lot of cool things with their sound (vocal harmonies, rounds). I'd like to see that.

Last night

And this morning, I was graced by several tracks that just felt perfect. Pierce the Veil with "Drella" and then Emarosa's new CD just sounded perfect. Then this morning with Pierce the Veil's A Flair for the Dramatic, the first 3 songs just fit really well. I don't know. I can't really explain it.

Whenever I listen to the opening track of Emarosa's self-titled, I just think "Michael Jordan performance"

New Music. One Sentence Each.

I'm so excited this came out and it's really good.
I can't believe this came out and it's great.
I really like "...Then I Defy You, Stars" and that's probably just because of the name and its good
I think this CD is the farthest metalcore can go and it's brutal and terrible and amazing.
Sometimes, I can't believe how great fucking amazing this CD really is and I can't believe how it's almost funny how much more I like this CD than any other CD ever and no one said I can't have run on sentences and how I don't think they can follow up to this.

What have I been listening to?

I don't really even want to talk about it. Um, Brand New?!?!?

I know. It's bad. But Deja Entendu is just so good. I like it because Lex loooves it. And I think that's the only reason. And, for whatever reason, the song title "Play Crack the Sky" is a cool song name. Even though I don't like that CD. I havn't listened to it, to be fair though. Also, I'm suppose to listen to The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me. It's supposedly really good as well. I'm listening to this right now, but I'm not really looking at the lyrics. So, idk, I'm really only hearing it....Anyway....Here's a jpeg.

Now that that's done, I also want to say I've been listening to Gaslight Anthem.
Senor and the Queen is really a fantasical album. My only problem with it is that it's too short. But that is part of what makes it amazing. It's so short and simple and to the point. It doesn't overstay its welcome and it's easily accessible. And Daniel was right. The song "Where Art Thou Elvis?" is a good song. It's really grown on me. But the rest of the EP is simply amazing. Which is why it was originally such a shitty song.

Sink or Swim is also very good. "I Could'a Been a Contender" and "Wooderson" are my favorites so far. But "I'd Call You Woody, Joe" is also really good. Aubree and Daniel say it's too poppy but that's never been a problem for me.

And I also want to say that Jonny Craig is really catchy. "What I Would Give to Be Austrailian" has grown on me as well.

The Timbre of a Voice

I do have many things to talk about in music. Though I don't really know how to connect them all. Firsssst.
Well, let's take the best voices in music (save maybe Anthony Green) and make them all do harmonies together. Yes, Jonny Craig, Craig Owens and Vic Fuentas all sound fantastic together. I want a fully produced and finished E.P. I demand it.
Jonny Craig. Jonny Jonny Jonny. What an amazing vocalist. He's emphatic and passionate. His solo project's CD should be good. I'm really digging the song Istillfeelher Part III. Let's hope the rest is just as good. It's also too bad he messes up bands.
This CD is amazing. Jonny here isn't the main focus, rather an intricate part of the entire package. He's so amazing. Yet Jonathon Mess's screaming is also standout and incredible here. So good.
Speaking of Isles and Glaciers, this CD is also very good. I can't wait for the new one.
Speaking of really good CDs, this one is fucking amazing as well. The lyrics are happily insightfully angsty. The music is fast and fun. I need to listen to more things like this. Let's talk about the stuff I'm listening that's bad.
Bad Romance is a catchy song, what can I say?
